0Someone Was Actually Stalking Chris Cornell
For the first time in history, the word “woman” came after the word “Florida” in a news piece. Radio.com posted this morning about a Florida woman, Jessica Robbins, sent numerous messages to Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell via social media networks using different usernames. The messages caused Cornell and his family to fear for their lives. Facebook just ruins everything, doesn’t it?
Robbins has charges involving Cornell dating back to 2008 when she posted videos accusing the singer of plagiarizing her writings. She then posted online messages accusing Cornell’s wife of abusing their children and being a drug addict. Robbins even contacted the New York State Office of Children and Family Services with the accusations.
The Florida woman had a $50,000 bail and actually posted it. She was released July 25th, however the court ruled that she could not have any contact with Cornell or his family and also cannot have access to the Internet. Robbins also must stay within 1,000 feet of the MidFlorida Amphitheatre in Tampa when Soundgarden performs there on August 11th.
This is hilarious.
