Good Riddance has a new album, Thoughts and Prayers, out today on Fat Wreck Chords. The band released a song from the album, Our Great Divide, which you can check out below or on YouTube.
You can order the album now, which is AMAZING. I hope to do a full review when I can get my head out of my ass.
GR is hitting the road to promote the new album next month, dates to be announced soon.
Vocalist Russ Rankin said:
“I don’t particularly want to write about a person, but I’m keen to write about the undercurrent and political and social climate that could bring about the ascension of somebody like that—because I feel like, unfortunately, that’s going to be more timeless.”
Thoughts and Prayers was mixed by longtime friend Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore, who’s had hands in every GD album since 1999’s Operation Phoenix.
