Such Gold originated in 2009 and have been working non stop since, releasing a full length, four split 7″ and two EPs, along with touring the globe with bands like Comeback Kid, Strung Out, A Wilhelm Scream, The Story So Far, Stick To Your Guns, The Wonder Years, and many more. The band also has a new lineup featuring: Ben Kotin (guitar/vocals), Nate Derby (guitar), Jon Markson (bass/vocals) and Matt Covey (drums). Producer Bill Stevenson has commented:
“This is one of the best records that I’ve worked on in the last five years. These kids shred balls.”
