PS. I still hate hippies.

When trying to compare their sound to an existing band, the first think I think of Placebo on a mix of acid and steroids…. a unique vocalist with trippy riffs that can barely be identified as any one genre (loveeeeee that). Really, Orbs is original enough to safely say they don’t really sound similar to anyone that comes rights to my head, which is such a rare thing to find in music now a days.

My favorite tracks are Lost at Sea and Sayer of the Law (great track to start off the album, for sure), so check the album out when it drops August 17th, and see if they’re YOUR favorite tooooooooo!!!!

To learn more about Orbs, check out:

MySpace

Equal Vision Records

***

The post ORBS *album review* appeared first on PunkWorldViews.com | Punk/Metal/Hardcore Coverage.

Between the Buried and Me *Interview with Dan*

Denise Borders

Featured Articles

Interviews

2010

between the buried and me

btbam

Cool Tour

dan briggs

hollywood

interview

live

metal

north carolina

palladium

Between the Buried and Me Tommy Giles Rogers Paul Andrew Waggoner Dustie Waring Dan Briggs Blake Richardson From the beautiful state of North Carolina, Between the Buried and Me (commonly abbreviated as BTBAM) has graced our ear drums with some pretty epic metal.
