I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m a little tired of EVERYTHING on Facebook being about the election. Don’t get me wrong- I get this is important and everyone is freaking out because the amount of complete dumbasses this country has is being shown, but you know what? There’s other shit to do/read/watch/listen to going on! Like every Wednesday, there’s a new punk rock radio show called Green Room Radio hosted by Tony Rettman, author of NYHC: New York Hardcore 1980 – 1990. The show went live this week and you can check out Episode 1 featuring Ted Leo now!
Green Room Radio will continuously feature interviews with influential people in the punk rock industry, including guests like Ned Russin from Title Fight and Richie Birkenhead from Underdog, Black Flag co-founder and OFF! frontman Keith Morris, Roger Mirret from Agnostic Front, and more. You can keep up with all the upcoming guests on the official website!
The radio show is launching in anticipation of the upcoming film Green Room, which is a crime horror-thriller centered around an unsuspecting young punk band starring Patrick Stewart, Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, and Alia Shawkat.
