Taking Back Sunday is Back With New Album + Tour
Your favorite pop punk band from high school just announced a new album. Taking Back Sunday plans to drop Happiness In on March 18th via Hopeless Records. You can listen to the new single, Flicker Fade, here or check it out below.
This marks the band’s sixth full-length album and is sure to please a lot of music fans. The single already has over 22,000 views on YouTube in less that a day! SHIIIT. The new album was produced by Marc Jacob Hudson (Saves The Day, The Swellers) and Mike Sapone (Brand New, O’Brother). You can pre-order Happiness Is, visit Hopeless Records.
The new album was actually written over a year ago and the band had no record label to tie with it. It’s TBS’s second record since reviving the classic lineup of vocalist Adam Lazzara, guitarist/vocalist John Nolan, guitarist Eddie Reyes, bassist Shaun Cooper and drummer Mark O’Connell.

Bassist, Shaun Cooper, commented:
“Through this process we had many more shared experiences as adults that have come into play. We had near death experiences purely from the force of nature, common enemies, playing for the troops who protect us against a different kind of enemy and that led to seeing parts of the world that you would never in your lifetime expect to see and leave you a bit haunted. There is a new level of honesty both in the writing and working with two producers who we have known for so long.”
