If you think punk is dead, then you need to go to the fucking Bluegrass state and chop off the heads of The Loaded Nuns. Â In a midst of scene bands, some true punks survive. Â The Loaded Nuns are a little reminiscent of Gorilla Biscuits, Minor Threat, and bands of that era. Â They’re that good ol’ scumbag punk rock that you’ve been missing out on. Â They’re self titled album is available now on Zodiac Killer Records. Â Get it, or suck it.
I’ve known these guys for a while but never reviewed their music, and I feel like I’m going to burn deeper in Hell for that. Â Damnit! This CD is seriously fucking awesome, and it’s one of those albums that makes you remember how much you loved old school punk bands that didn’t give a fuck, but still put out rad records. Â I can listen to this album over and over until I almost get in a car accident from it. This is true.
From anthems like I Drink To Forget to more mellow tunes like Shut Down, this album is seriously awesome.  If you’re around the central Kentucky area, you’re lucky enough to see them play and I highly recommend it.  So grab your moonish and go kick someone in the face!
