0The Royal Heist *interview*
The Royal Heist
Collin Pulsipher – vocals
Everett Connors – bass
Charlie Paz – drums
Donato McDermott – guitar
“A highly-volatile group of gentleman from Los Angeles, The Royal Heist posses a unique swagger rarely seen in modern indie rock bands. Formed in 2005, the dance-heavy act features Everett Conners (bass), Collin Pulsipher (vocals), Charlie Paz (drums) and Donato McDermott (guitar). With ther new full-length album, “Midnight in the Garden of Evil” (2010), The Royal Heist are pushing themselves into a category all their own. Driving bass lines, a rock-solid backbeat, subtle guitar riffs and fiercely unique vocal styling set them apart from the hoards of cookie-cutter musicians currently in the forefront. Their high-energy live show, combined with a razor sharp look and sound, make The Royal Heist a force to be reckoned with.”

If you’re even in the mood for some modern day rock-n-roll (not in a lame-o kinda way…) then you really should check out The Royal Heist. They’re classic rock with an edge that will turn your ear buds on (a.k.a. get them HOT). I got to sit down with the boys on the night of their CD release show at Cinespace in West Hollywood, and as the busy Hollywood Boulevard traffic went by, we discussed Los Angeles, their music, who they want to punch, and more! Check it out!

They’re not only great to listen to, but these boys put on one hell of a live show, so definitely check out their music (links below), but be sure to catch a show if you ever have the chance!
