2The Word Alive *interview w/ Telle*
Arizona seems to churn out quite a bit of good bands now a days, so it doesn’t surprise me that Fearless Records has introduced The Word Alive to us, hailing from Phoenix, AZ. This six piece, post-hardcore band combines elements of screamo and metal, plus some synthetics to create a sound any hardcore music lover is sure to crave.
*** The Word Alive ***
Dusty Riach (keys)
Nick Urlacher (bass)
Tony Aguilera (drums)
Tony Pizzuti (guitar, vocals)
Zach Hansen (guitar, vocals)
Tyler “Telle” Smith (vocals)
While they were on tour with Madina Lake, Closure in Moscow, I See Stars and Silverstein, I had the chance to talk with vocalist, Tyler Telle.
Check it out!
