THRICE Release New Album and Prepare to Kick Off Tour

“For better or worse, Thrice are no longer the band that wrote The Artist in the Ambulance. But that’s precisely the point: they’ve become something else, something deeper, something still vital. With Horizons/West, they reaffirm why they remain so significant in 2025, because they continue to grow, to challenge themselves and their listeners, to write songs that linger in both heart and head. And though this record closes a chapter that began four years ago, it also feels like the start of something larger. Thrice have never been content to stay in one place. Horizons/West is proof that their compass still points forward — even when the map runs out. ” – Ethereal Metal

A nationwide tour is about to kick off to support Thrice’s latest album, Horizons/West. The band returns with their twelfth studio album, out now via Epitaph Records. You can listen to the new album now, which has been described as “a grab bag of every Thrice era to date (The Hollywood Reporter),” showcasing the band’s evolution and versatility.

“Every time we make a new album, we give it everything we have. We immerse ourselves fully in writing and recording, we have a blast, we pull our hair out a bit, and we come through it all with something we are really proud of. But sometimes you stumble into something special — I think we all feel that with this record,” shares frontman Dustin Kensrue.
“For over two decades, Thrice has held a unique place in the post-hardcore landscape — a sonic environment where introspection and evolution are not only expected but also essential. With each album, the band introduces new layers to their unmistakable sound and continues their aural expansion, all the while refusing to conform to predictability or fade into nostalgia.”– First 3 No Flash
