War on Women Announces New Self-Titled Album
Baltimore’s War on Women just announced a release date for their upcoming self-titled debut full-length album. The record will drop February 10th via Bridge Nine Records and feature 11 tracks recorded with J. Robbins at the Magpie Cage (Against Me!, Coliseum, Lemuria). Frontwoman Shawna Potter commented on the new record that she has:
“…plenty of material to pull from when it comes to writing lyrics, considering the pervasive sexism in modern America.”

WOW formed in 2010 and includes members of AVEC and Liars Academy. One would describe their sound as “thrash rock meets riot grrrl”. They released their debut EP, Improvised Weapons, in 2012 via Exotic Fever Records.
