War On Women Signs to Bridge Nine Records
Bridge Nine Records just announced they have signed Baltimore’s hardcore punk band, War On Women. I saw this band open up for Propagandhi a few months back, and I have to say they put on quite a show! Propagandhi talked about them and how they brought them on tour and they were huge fans. That’s quite an endorsement! War On Women is hitting the road with Propagandhi [again] and RVIVR in the US and Canada next month.
War On Women was founded in 2010 and describes their sound as “thrash rock meets riot grrrl.” They intentionally write their songs to be too loud. Whooo. The band is set to release their 11-track debut record via Bridge Nine in early 2015. Their debut EP, Improvised Weapons, is currently sold out but will be back in stock soon.
