Western Daughter Streams New Track via New Noise Magazine
A relatively unknown band gaining some steam in the indie scene, Western Daughter, has a new track called The Road is Laced with Something Dangerous streaming now. The song is off the band’s upcoming album, As the Sun Went Down, which drops digitally December 8th and is available for pre-order now. They commented on their new track:
“We feel ‘The Road is Laced with Something Dangerous’ is a great introduction to Western Daughter. Musically, our aim was to teeter back and forth between driving and moody post-punk rhythms and soft, melodic refrains. Lyrically, it deals with feelings of disassociation and loss, even distrust in one’s own memories.”
