6Who I Think Bad Religion’s New Drummer Should Be
The internet is buzzing today with the news that Brooks Wackerman, long-time drummer of Epitaph’s Bad Religion, has announced his departure from the band. He released this statement on his Facebook and Twitter:
As you can see below, other websites are really giving TONS of information and opinions about the news:
Thank you for taking .004 seconds out of your day to post these seven words, AbsolutePunk! Thank god you surpass PWV in views daily, because clearly, you work for it.
One of the first things that popped in my head when I heard this, like most other people I’m sure, is who in the world is going to replace Brooks? Well, I think it should be……
Josh Freese
Freese has been an active drummer since the late 80’s and has made a living from it, deservingly. He’s sat behind the kit for bands like the Vandals, the Dwarves, Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle, Devo, The Offspring, Ween, Paramore and the list goes on. Also, he was born on Christmas which has probably sucked his entire life so HE DESERVES THIS. Tell him on Twitter.
Who do you think should take on this iconic role? Tell me on Twitter or Facebook or in the comments below.
