The album name definitely doesn’t let you know.  The “shoot to kill” attitude is apparent throughout the entire album, with gunshots and all.  It’s got the upbeat pace of punk, with the lyrics of dirt-core as I like to call it (just plain ridin’ dirty lyrics), so it’s at least different than the  metalcore/ I look like I shop at Hot Topic/ But only when my girlfriend drives me there – kind of bands that seem to be appearing out of thin air.
If I had to say something negative about the album, it might be a LITTLE over the top with the gun shot sound effects and whatnot, but hey… maybe that’s your thing? I am far from a gangsta’, so what the hell do I know?
You can tell by the track titles that these guys aren’t fucking around. Â They’re honest and straight forward and sing about what everyone is probably thinking. Tracks like Draggin Me Down have sort of a classic, slowed-down punk sound, while tracks like Here We Go are a lot more fast-paced, but still have that classic punk rock feel (even with a little ‘twang for those Southern-made-Hollywood-paid folk’!!).
It’s definitely interesting so grab your copy tomorrow! You can order the album here from Suburban Noize Records.
