My adventures at this summer’s Warped Tour persisted on through the heat and multiple crappy bands (as most of you know, the ratio of good bands to awful ones is very lopsided. boo hoo).

brokeNCYDE is one of the bands that I was definitely not familiar with, but after giving them a listen, I have to give them credit for trying something original. Not exactly my normal style of music, but with all the same ol’ same ol’ emo bands that sound exactly the same, I have to give props to bands that have their own sound.

Venturing back to the catering tent, one of the founding members of the “crunk-core” band brokeNCYDE, and I, began our interview.
