Tony Sly
No Use For a Name frontman, Tony Sly, has embarked on a solo journey that I could not be more stoked on. lot of people sigh in disgust when they get wind of someone in a well-known band doing a solo project, but I’m telling you: THIS FUCKING RULES. NUFAN was classic, 90′s Fat Wreck yumminess, and while his debut, 12 Song Program, has a different sound, I think NUFAN fans will be pleased none the less.
I had the opportunity to talk with Tony while he was passing through Hollywood at the hipster-infested Hotel Cafe. I was just as stoked to interview him as I was on seeing him play, and luckily neither of them were disappointing (we all know I would have pointed it out…). Check it out!
